I turn my page and sigh. I put the book down.

I turned over in the tree, snoring quietly, and nearly fell out. I hung upside-down from the tree like a possum, still asleep.

I look at her and smile. I stand up, putting my hand on her chest, heating it up so she'll wake up.

"Cookie.... Now." I mumbled, holding out a loaded bow. I took a step forward and, being my clumsy self, tripped over my own feet and fell flat on my face.... Again. "Ow! What the chiz--- Oh." I blushed when I saw Ryan, quickly standing up and fixing myself. "Uh, hi. I wasn't sleep-threatening again....was I?" I asked hopefully, embarrassed.

I made a face. "Chuck Testa. No wonder." I sat down at the foot of the tree and fixed my fedora. "So how're you this fine afternoon.?" I asked casually, eating a cookie.

I nodded in approval, offering him a cookie and to sit down beside me. "That's wonderful. I just got finished with class." I smiled, completely oblivious as usual to whatever happened before I woke. All I knew was that the sun was heating the Earth and Chuck Testa tried to steal a cookie.

I took the cookie and sat next to her. "Thanks." I bite into it.

I gasped. "You're telling me you've never gone penguin surfing?!" I finished my cookie and placed both hands on either side of his face. "You need to go penguin surfing. Now."

I walked into a sort of central courtyard, staying on a path that guided me through the place.I could hear a water fountain in the center, and the slight tapping of my cane on the concrete. The weather was nice. Perhaps a little too nice - the sun was bearing down on me, and I was tiring out more quickly from my walking than I would have on a cloudy day. I remembered someone mentioning to me that there were benches around the fountain, so I made my way over there, and sat down on a stone seat when I found one.

I was startled when someone tapped on my shoulder, and twitched so badly that I nearly fell off of the bench. "Oh. Um, hello," I said, slightly embarrassed, and tugged uncomfortably at the edge of my blindfold. It wasn't exactly polite to sneak up on a blind person like that.
