Nia jumped up and pressed her lips against his for a second, two, ten. Then she pulled back. "I love you." Nia smiled softly.

"Me too." Nia patted his chest, then guided him gently towards the door. "Visit me tomorrow?" She pleaded.

"Maybe.." he teased as a car honked out front. "Hurry up, Derick!" Austin shouted. Derick sighed and kissed her forehead.

"You better." Nia smiled and kissed Derick's cheek. She turned to Austin and waved matter-of-factly and raised an eyebrow. "Hey, Austin."

Austin gave her a smug look."Now Derick." He said as he walked to the car. "Lock your doors." He said and got in.

Nia smiled and closed the door. She clicked off the tv and went to her bedroom to go to sleep, not bothering to lock the doors. She made sure her stash of knives were secured under the bed, however, just in case someone broke in.

Derick got home, bruised up and quickly went up stairs. He drifted off.

Nia woke up and got ready for the da. She came out of the bathroom dressed in a green Sun Drop shirt (because she loved the commercials) and a pair of designer jeans. She went to the kitchen to cook breakfast, but soon realized that she had no food yet. So Nia hopped into her car and drove to the nearest store.

Derick woke up the next morning sore. He slowly sat up and got out of bed, yawning. He looked at the time. "9:12a.m." He said shuffling to the bathroom to get ready for the day. After taking care of his hygiene he went to his closet to pulled out a palad checker board shirt along with a pair of blue jeans. He put them on along with a pair of black boots.

She bought the main things: milk, eggs, flour, and butter; and then a few other things like fruits and veggies. She grabbed a pack of turkey bacon and a loaf of bread. She paid, then drove back home. Nia loaded up her fridge, then went to cooking homemade pancakes. Her phone was charging on the counter, and she considered calling Derick, but she feared it'd be to early to call anyone so she went back to her cooking.

Derick bit his lip as he offered up the bruises like he always did. "Prefect. " he smiled slightly and looked at his phone. "Hm..." he shrugged and decided to call Nia.

Nia washed her hands when she heard her ringtone for Derick and held the phone between her cheek and her shoulder. "Hello?" She answered with a slight smile, stirring her mixture and pouring it in the pan.

"Want me to pick you up?" Nia chuckled. She dotted the strawberries on top of the finished pancakes in an intricate design.

He smiled. "I see you too." He said as he went to the passager side of the car. He got in and blucked up.
