I sauntered onto the cliffs. The sun was shining brightly and there was a slight breeze, ruffling my hair around my cheeks and forehead. I took a seat on a rock that happened to be sitting near the edge. I looked over at the waves, just relaxing.

Sean was walking near the cliffside. He was looking down at his feet, thinking to himself. He did that whenever he was bored. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a movement, he looked up, nervous as to what he would see. But to his relief, it was just a girl. A minute or so of deliberation and he decided to approach her. Slowly, with a smile, he made his way towards her.

I was still gazing when I felt someone behind me. Awkward. I glanced behind me and saw a pretty cute boy. I smiled a little, awkwardly, then turned back and looked at the water again.

Sean felt a bit queasy as she smiled at him. Not because of her, she was really pretty, Just Sean was nervous. He hadn't thought things through at all...What should he say? He settled with a simple greeting. 'Hey.'

I glanced up at him and pushed my hair out of my face. "Hey," I responded. My heart was racing. I really sucked at making conversation... Especially with cute boys wah.

Sean sat himself down next to her and smiled again. He felt himself go a little bit red. 'You seemed a little lonely up here all...alone' He tried for a small laugh but it just sounded awkward to him.

I laughed a little. "Yeah... Well..." I didn't really know what to say so I just trailed off... I folded my hands together in my lap and twiddled my thumbs together.

Sean looked away and sighed. Maybe he should just walk away and leave it he thought to himself. He turned back to her. 'So, any reason you're up here all on your own?'

"Not really," I chuckled a little. "I was just on a walk and ended up here." I paused. "What about you? You were up here alone... Or on your way to being alone I suppose." I stopped talking cause I started making myself sound stupid.
