My stomach growls and I look at Nia and smile. I stand up and grab a basket that I had made. I start plucking some fruits of the trees and bushes.

I found her name and pressed the call button. "Hola, tía Estella? Me voy a volver de campamento para el año escolar, y me preguntaba si me podía quedar con usted en la ciudad?" The was a pause, then a long stream of Spanish curses. "Listen, listen! Voy a pagar por la escuela y todo. Sólo necesito un lugar para alojarse!" I listened for a while, then the other line went dead. I sighed and closed my phone.

I look at her while I took off some raspberries. "Hm I don't speak much Spanish, but that didn't sound to good...what's up?"

I looked over at Derick and rolled my eyes. "She doesn't want me staying with her; she said it was my fault that her husband went crazy and killed my father. She thinks I'll 'corrupt the children's minds'." I grumbled.

"Oh. Hm how does a little girl control a grown ass man?" I ask walking back cover to her. I sit down the fruit and start eating.

I shrugged. "If I knew, I'd tell her. She's just jealous, probably." I sighed and checked my wallet for any extra money, but only found a few twenties. I'd have to check my account later.

I put the card away. "Because it's not right. I'd feel like I'm barging in." I smiled sheepishly. "And as for the creditcard, I know how to handle it."
