Thomas didn't know exactly what was happening to make her like this. "You ok?" then she laughed. it made everyhing feel fine, for some reason. "Well, I guess you are. could be wrong, though." Thomas walked some more through the woods, when he got an idea. "You ever tried flying before?"

"I see..." Thomas was silent. "Well, would you like to try it sometime? or are you still good here?"

Thomas smiled, and climbed onto Draco, sitting behind her so she could have an unobstructed view to the skies. Thomas then gently grabbed her hands. "You're going to want to hold onto the neck. don't worry about choking him, he's got a touch neck." Thomas held his axe in one hand, seeing as he didn't have a place to hold it, and gently wrapped his left arm around her waist. "Ready when you are."

((haha, RIGHT in the driver's seat, huh?))

Thomas urged Draco, and the beast flew upward, flying into the sky. "Woooooohoooooo!"

Bree's grip tightened as she screamed. It was initial fright/regret that had her screaming at first but soon it was more like "OH MY GODS! THIS IS AWESOME" screaming by the time she got into it.

Thomas sighed contentedly. "You really enjoy being up here? being up on top of a dragon isn't giving you any problems?"

Bree shook her head. She smiled broadly. She was looking around in amazement. She backed up a little so he couldn't drop her though. That would be a problem.

Thomas was mildly surprised when she backed up against him. "Worried I'll drop you?" Thomas moved his arm more snug around her. "You don't have to worry about that."

Bree shrugged. "I'm not. But falling would be a problem," she said and grinned as she saw a bird fly near.

Thomas gave a weird look. he didn't like how she cut off the topic. "Hey, ok, I can tell I've struck a nerve. Who's Henry and what the hell did he do to you?"

Bree hesitated. She looked around and nearly facepalmed when she realised no one would be around. "Henry was my legal guardian. He... Well... He was an abusive man," Bree admitted.

Thomas looked at her, and gently removed his hand, realizing why exactly she had screamed at him. "He abused you more than just... physically, didn't he?" Thomas gently nudged Draco to fly downward, turning back to the edge of the woods. "I think we should have a talk."

Thomas landed Draco gently, hardly causing a thump as they landed. Thomas then looked at Bree, sadly. "I'm sorry." thomas didn't know what else to say, so he just said sorry. "I'm so sorry."

Bree hopped off the dragon and backed from him. "I don't want sympathy. I don't watch fucking pity. I don't want your apologies," she said and turned to leave. She winced and leaned down to her knee again.

Thomas was by her side, gently hugging her. "That doesn't change the fact that I am sorry..." Thomas released her. "I'll have Draco fly you to the infirmary alone, if you want. I'll be fine here. as it is, you're in no shape to walk on that knee." Thomas tilted her chin up to look into his eyes. "Beleive me or not, I care how you feel. you could say it's a flaw of mine. I think here," Thomas put a hand over his heart. "before I think here." Thomas then put a hand on his head. He then backed away. "You seem like you need a friend. Would you mind if I tried to be that friend?"

"Bree Taylor could run before she could walk. So Bree Taylor is not going to the infirmary," she said and put her foot down. She proved her point by walking then jogging and then sprinting back to him. "If you really want to know about my life, you could just ask me instead of apologizing and hugging me. And that's a pretty cool flaw. I'd say my competitiveness is mine."

"ok, ok," thomas said, tossing his axe to the ground. "this log will serve as good a chair as any..." sitting down, he gave Draco a cue to relax, and the rhino sized dragon lay down. "So what happened, anyways?"
